Join us on Fridays for a relaxed sew day in our happy place. Bring whatever’s on your sewing table — something that needs finishing or a project you’ve been saving for later. Come for the whole time or just drop in when it works for you.

This isn’t a class — just open sewing time. Gather up your sewing friends and make it your own little retreat for the day.

You’ll have access to cutting tables, ironing stations, and a refrigerator for your convenience.

We meet every first Saturday for a day of stitching fun. Bring your trusty machine and supplies and get ready to sew away. Think of it like an open sew day, but with a twist: only Villa Rosa patterns allowed.

As a member, you get to choose a Villa Rosa Pattern of your choice each month. Each session includes one pattern, classroom space, and one of our fabulous Stitch team members will be on hand for any pattern questions, fabric picks, or just to give you that extra boost of encouragement.

Don't have a machine? No worries! We have a couple on hand that you can rent for just $10 a day.

Whether you bring along your current project, a UFO, or start something new, it's all about connecting with fellow creators who share a passion for bringing things to life with fabric, yarn, or threads. We're keeping it laid-back with a potluck lunch and snacks. No frills, just good times filled with sewing, snacking, and swapping stories.

Porch Fest is a laid-back, walkable music event that brings live performances to front porches around Jefferson. With four porches and five performances, it invites people to stroll the neighborhood, enjoy local music, and uniquely experience the community. The evening wraps up with the final performance at Thomas Jefferson Gardens, making it a relaxed and memorable way to enjoy live music outdoors.

The results often look far more complicated than they really are—and that's part of the fun.

Whether you're drawn to bold geometric effects or simply want to try a technique that looks completely different from traditional piecing, this class will open the door to a whole new way of looking at fabric.

Joleen will guide you through the process step-by-step, helping you understand fabric selection, cutting, and layout as your kaleidoscope design begins to emerge.

“Cruisin’ to the Square” (formerly Hot August Night) is always the second Thursday of August with the rain date on Friday. Hosted by Jefferson Matters and organized by Chuck Wenthold, Pete Bardole, Jill Morton, along with committee members, invite people of all ages to spend the evening admiring all types of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and antique tractors parked around the historic downtown square and on adjoining streets. Registration is online and completely free. Participants can register on the day of the event. Prizes will be awarded to the vehicles in various categories. A Poker Walk event is also offered, with prizes awarded to the top Poker hands. A grilled picnic supper will be served by Jefferson Matters.
