Bell Tower Festival

The Bell Tower Festival is Jefferson’s signature summer celebration, bringing the community together for a weekend full of fun, music, and hometown pride. The event features live entertainment, family-friendly activities, local food and drinks, and plenty of reasons to spend time downtown. It’s a chance to reconnect with neighbors, welcome visitors, and celebrate everything that makes Jefferson a great place to be.
BYOB: Legal & Tax Essentials

Join us for the second session of BYOB: Build Your Own Business, a quarterly series designed to help entrepreneurs learn, connect, and grow.
This session, Tax & Legal Essentials, will feature insights from Ross Martens, CPA with Martens & Associates, Brandon Hommer, Attorney with Hoyt, Morain & Hommer, and Leah Locke, Regional Director for the Iowa State University America's SBDC Iowa. Together, they’ll cover key tax, legal, and business topics that can help you make informed decisions and build a strong foundation for your business.

Porch Fest
Sunday, July 12, starting at 1:30 pm
Porch Fest is a laid-back, walkable music event that brings live performances to front porches around Jefferson. With four porches and five performances, it invites people to stroll the neighborhood, enjoy local music, and uniquely experience the community. The evening wraps up with the final performance at Thomas Jefferson Gardens, making it a relaxed and memorable way to enjoy live music outdoors.
Java and Juice: Warm Wishes

Java and Juice at Warm Wishes is a great chance to stop in, connect, and support a local business! Join us as Kristin Lang shares more about the upcoming Stationery Store Day on August 1, along with any upcoming workshops and events happening at the shop. Java and Juice: Sierra Community Theater

Join us at the Sierra Community Theater to learn about this community-funded theater, and a closer look inside one of Jefferson’s most recognized spaces. Enjoy time to connect with others, and take in a space that adds to the experience of spending time in Jefferson.
Cruisin’ to the Square
Thursday, August 13: 4:30-7:00 PM
“Cruisin’ to the Square” (formerly Hot August Night) is always the second Thursday of August with the rain date on Friday. Hosted by Jefferson Matters and organized by Chuck Wenthold, Pete Bardole, Jill Morton, along with committee members, invite people of all ages to spend the evening admiring all types of cars, trucks, motorcycles, and antique tractors parked around the historic downtown square and on adjoining streets. Registration is online and completely free. Participants can register on the day of the event. Prizes will be awarded to the vehicles in various categories. A Poker Walk event is also offered, with prizes awarded to the top Poker hands. A grilled picnic supper will be served by Jefferson Matters.
