People for Animal Welfare Society promotes humane treatment and care for Greene County animals. In addition, PAWS cares for the animals at the Greene County Animal Shelter, a small shelter for lost and abandoned animals. Through the animal adoption program, they strive to find loving, permanent homes for abandoned animals.
