Jefferson Wants You- Two New Business Incentive Fund Recipients

The Jefferson Wants You initiative is proud to announce that two more recipients have been awarded $5,000 this August. Nikki Uebel, owner of RE/MAX Legacy and Megan Ball, owner of Midwest Behavioral Health opened their businesses in 2022 occupying a vacant downtown building in Jefferson. Their $5,000 grants will go toward the start-up costs for their new Jefferson businesses.

Nikki Uebel opened RE/MAX Legacy, a new full-service real estate and rental business located at 100 N Wilson, St.

Nikki has a strong online and social media presence to showcase all available homes. Jefferson is excited to have RE/MAX Legacy as an additional resource to help our community grow. Nikki shared, “This business was a catalyst for our purchase of the vacant downtown building. It will impact all of the town by having two productive businesses in that space. Additionally, RE/MAX Legacy will be a community partner with other businesses.”

Megan Ball is another recipient for her new business, Midwest Behavioral Health, located at 102 N. Wilson St.

Midwest Behavioral Health supports rehabilitation with life skills for those in need of substance recovery, further education, and support back into the working class. Megan explains, “This is a substance use disorder treatment center that can treat dual diagnosis with mental health secondary.”
